Lynx distributor is showing continuity between positive and negative when fuse is installed

Hello all, I’m trying to commission my new RV solar inverter system, and I’m having an issue with my links distributor. When nothing’s connected, there’s no continuity between the positive and negative main lugs. As soon as I install a fuse across any one of the two positive lugs, I get continuity across the positive and negative main lugs. Is it supposed to operate this way, in my mind, it is not. I have no idea why it is doing this. Any recommendations on what to look for or how to fix this. I.e. is there some jumper I was supposed to remove at/during installation. Thanks for your support

Because there are electronic components between + and - to detect a blown fuse.

If you measure the resistant you will definitely have more than 0 Ohm.

So are you saying that is expected? Sorry just trying to read between the lines

Sorry that was for @M_Lange

I never tested it (why should I?) but I would say it is to be expected.

You will also measure “continuity” between + and - or L and N of a MultiPlus.

The manual lists a power consumption for the Lynx Distributor of 100mA, it if has a power consumption it must have continuity between positive and negative to allow the power flow.

Thanks. I’m a bit of beginner so I appreciate your comments. Thanks
