The SuperPack (non-NG) is a very simple product and all necessary information should be available in the data sheet.
Was there something specific you were looking for that’s not in the data sheet?
I don’t have any specific insight to the future term plans for the (non NG) superpack.
Generally speaking for Victron products, if customers continue to buy them and we are able to continue to get the parts to manufacture them, we continue to sell them.
Some find this approach strange, as it means we have 3 different generations of MultiPlus for sale right now, spanning 20 years. However some customers and OEMs prefer the original design and appreciate the advantages of longterm development, learning and in-field experience for power electronics.
There are probably other things, but one obvious omission is that it doesn’t specify the terminal stud torque. I’m surprised that was missed given how easily the threaded inserts can be damaged by overtightening, and the potential serious consequences of under tightening a battery connection.
Thanks for the response. Nothing in particular. I was mainly concerned that it was going to be EOL as there was no manual.
Each of the other batteries have very comprehensive manuals so, the NG Superpack information on wiring in parallel and fusing etc should be very similar.
Essentially the NG version just has some extra features with the ON/OFF control button, external feedback connector and self heating.
The carry handles and mounting base could be useful for installation.
