kWh meter for AC load

Hi all,

I would like to monitor some specific loads, and I have installed EM112 for this load. I have also selected energy meter role as AC load, but im not able to get any separate “AC load box” remote console. If I select energy meter role as EV charger, I will get that box. So, how I can get this AC box? Currently im using beta v3.60-16.

I do not have any grid meter installed and I do not have any EVCS.

Equipment:

1x Multiplus 48/5000VA

Venus GX

Pylontech

3x MPPT

Thanks

Don’t change the AC metering from inverter to meter. You need to go into meter settings on VRM and change it’s role to AC load. Here:

Hi
Thanks for your answer and time, but this doesnt work. I have tested this already.

If I select role grid, then I can see this special load on grid, but this is not true, because im 99% offgrid and grid is not connected now. If I select role as heat pump, I dont see it on remote console or VRM. Name of this my special load is Victron 2x3000VA and you can see this name on my picture.

You can see MPPTs charging 3475W, normal load is 506W and 358W goes to the battery, rest goes to my special load that I would like to see on separate AC load box on remote control, but if I select energy meter role as a AC load, nothing happen.
I can see it only on device list.

If only way to get it shown on remote control is select role as a EVCS, would be great, if I could remane and give some custom name.
Thanks for your help!

Can you test in old Remote Console view? Any difference? It should do what you select there, must be UI bug.

Hi,
No any difference. I can see it only on device list.

Yep, that I think so too. I have tried this with many previous FW versions as well, but never any success.

Thanks again !

Hello all,

@mpvader
Is this really a bug, or is there something, that I just can´t get right?

Thanks, Kimmo

A feature request is here. However, you could try setting it as a PV inverter, then maybe you could rename it.
