This seems to come up sometimes but I am struggling to find a detailed answer. I have a Shelly EM, working fine and connected to the network. Likewise MP2 GX also connected to the same network. I have installed the Goaheadz (GitHub - Goaheadz/dbus-shelly-em-smartmeter: Integrate Shelly EM Gen1 into Victron Energies Venus OS) code and it is definitely running and connecting to the Shelly…but it is not showing the Current or Power. It is definitely showing a live value for the grid voltage though. I have tried Position 0 and 1 in the config.ini file with no change.
What am I missing?
Sussed it. The python script was hard coded to [1] rather than [0] for the Grid settings. Look around line 143.
