Isolation Transformer Melted

Hello. I have a 3600 watt Isolation Transformer on a US boat connected to a 30 amp shore power circuit. The AC wires on the boat side of the unit have melted. None of the breakers on either side of the unit flipped. The Victron is 10 years old. We live aboard and have had the 30 amp service running for the last few months with a decent load (up to 30 amps). No heaters or AC, but some appliances and the occasional microwave oven.

Before I replace the unit … any ideas why this happened?
