Isolated mount

Hi all!

Anybody knows where to find the plastic isolated mounts used to wall-mount older Victron equipment like isolation transformer and Skylla battery chargers?

ID is 10mm, OD is 28mm, they are fitted from both ends of an 18mm hole in the casing, and they protrude 10mm of each side.

Otherwise, any alternative that doesn’t add more than 10mm between the casing and the wall and accepts M8 or M10 screws?

I’ve been looking for a solution for 2h already but couldn’t find anything I like.

Thanks a lot for the help!

Look here:

Cut the slits by hand and then assemble it…

That’s actually a great option, thanks a lot! The ones on link do not quite fit, but I can probably find some appropriate ones.

Anybody knows if the originals from Victron can still be found somewhere?

I’ll say that “originals from Victron” isn’t so much a concern; Victron’s factories no more produce little plastic widgets like this than they do the mounting screws that come with many of these things.

You could certainly try calling around to your local distributors and see if any of them have some saved off of RMA’d units or something like that, but honestly I doubt anyone would have bothered saving something like this… up to you if you want to try though!

I certainly don’t care for original Victron mounts  I do have very limited access, though, and can’t fit the usual rubber mounts that are available everywhere.

If anybody is looking for similar parts, the keywords seem to be “bonded mounts” or “mushroom mounts”.

My best option so far is part 2312 from this site Two-Piece | Center Bonded Rubber Mounts | Ebco, Inc

Anyone with a better solution will have my eternal gratitude :folded_hands:

Not sure this will interest many people, but just in case someone comes across this thread in the future, I ended up having new mounts 3D-printed.

Much cheaper than bonded rubber mounts.

Here is the STL file. Free to use, of course.

Wishing you a spark-free Easter!
