Hello there,
I have a functional installation but I have lost some connections materials (a lot) in the process, plus I like the idea of having some available spares.
Mostly M6 and m8 bolts, nuts, spring and flat copper-ish washers.
Today I managed to use some from unused connections. But soon, when I’ll upgrade my setup, I will definitely be missing them.
Do victron sells spare kits ?
Are there equivalent available on the market?
Thanks
Alot of local repair centres have spares…
Otherwise they will reappear when you dont need them. As the do…
Every hardware store or ofc amazon
Well, ok.
I don’t really know if I have a Local victron repair center around here, but the washers I found on Amazon are not exactly the same in dimensions or composition.
I guess victron ones are nickel plated to avoid corrosion, is it nickel plating by the way?
The ones I find are uncoated brass or copper.
I think I’d be more comfortable with genuine victron parts.
How can victron not make kits available?
It’s just normal stainless steel V2A, nothing special.
But you could just ask any Victron distributor:

Really? The coloration is slightly more orange than stainless steel and do not respond to magnets, are you sure there isn’t any copper in it?
Austenitic stainless steels (V2A = 304) do not respond to magnets.
Ok, thanks. I learned something
