Is my Cerbo GX toast?

My cerbo wasn’t finiding my router…the manual says I should recycle power to sort it out. I first tried a reboot through the menu, but that didn’t work. So I unplugged the 12v from the unit (its powered from the Lynx) and plugged it back in. No lights, nothing working.

I’ve checked the fuse, and its fine…

Any ideas?

Get in contact with your installer or the seller of the Cerbo.

Thanks Matthias… I guess I’d really like to know whether Victron would expect the Cerbo to die if the 12v has been removed and re-connected. If so, I’d be very disappointed.

could it be that you got one of the cerbo’s that have a problem with the power input? It has been a problem I’d say 1.5 years ago, I managed to kill 2 cerbos by simply turning the power off and on

The Cerbo shouldn’t die that way → warranty

The power supply issue only applies to units produced early 2022 and only to 48V systems.

Hi Matthias… Thanks for your help - I am in touch with the dealer about the Cerbo warranty. Meanwhile, it looks like my Multiplus has frozen… I guess this shouldn’t happen just because the Cerbo is down. I have Victron Connect on my mac, and can connect to the Multi… how can I restart the inverter?

Thanks in advance!
