Having not used this product on my campervan for a few months on the first day of a trip overseas I got a message to update the product - which I duly did. Should have googled it first so now having to sort out the mess. As am away for a month have had to buy a new unit and get friends to deliver - if I swap this for the old unit - please let me know that the firmware issue is resolved
What exactly is your problem?
As soon as I did the software update I had the issue of rapid changing between bulk and absorption. As I am away I have had to get a new unit - I am not in a position to take it back to the supplier. I want to make sure that this new unit has whatever fix that caused the first one to fail. Obviously can’t return it either under warranty so just want to make sure.
The last FW for the IP65 chargers was released around 7 months ago, so I don’t think that there is a serious issue with that version.
I also updated a few chargers without problems.
