Ip22 24/16

I have bought 4 pcs IP22 24/16. Before installation I made a test setup.
It charges my LiFePo4 battery with 16A.

BUT using an ampmeter it shows that the battery is charge by 16A and the charger is drawing 3A from utility.

This is confirmed with a powermeter that shows 700W from utility and 400W to the battery.

This is an effiency of 55% and not the 94% from specifikation.
All 4 chargers is showing the exact same numbers.
They are all running FW 3.65. Changing the charge current to 8A and 4A reduces the numbers to half and quarter on both sides.

Is this correct or do I have a problem ?

Is your powermeter ok, and are you measuring in Watt or VA?

I have 3 x IP22 24/12

I use a clamp ammeter , a victron shunt and a powermeter measuring voltage, amps and watt.

Does the device get particularly warm after a while? Theoretically (assuming the measuring devices are correct) it should get warmer over time (300W).

Do you have pictures from your measurings?

Most (battery) AC clamp meters are not accurate they measure VA and wattless current/power
