Hello everyone, i dont use alot of victron equipment but i need help on this one. We have recently installed a system in Togo Africa that has a Quatro 15 and a MPPT 450/200 with two lithium batteries. the system worked great for the last couple months but then i recieved the following error with the same low battery warning, even thought the batteries were not low. VE.Bus Error 24: Switch-over system protection initiated. Now every time we reset the inverter it brings this error up. Surly the system cant have faulted out and be back in 2 months.
i saw one previous post about this but there was never any procedure to fix it. any help is much needed and appreciated. thanks guys.
Error 24 is raised when a Multi or Quattro detects current flowing through the back-feed relay during a period when the relay should be open. This can mean one of three things:
The relay did not open.
The related current measurement circuit is faulty.
A multiplus II is used with an external current sensor connected, but the option 'External current sensor connected' is not checked in ve.configure.
It looks like you have a stuck or burnt relay in the inverter. This would need to be returned for repair, possibly warranty.
