I am very proud to announce the first step in our VRM AI assistant, designed to make data visualization in VRM easier to access.
You’ll now see a sparkly icon in the bottom-right corner of your Advanced page. Click it to open your AI assistant, ready to help you create graphs for your installation without scrolling through standard widgets or building a custom one from scratch.
Simply describe what you’d like to see, or explore your options together with the assistant. It will suggest and preview a graph based on your input, letting you iterate until it’s just right.
Once you’re happy, you can pin your graph to the Advanced page for easy future access.
This is just the beginning of the AI assistant. We’re eager to hear what you think and what else you’d love the assistant to do. Your input will help shape what comes next!
Is there any option on the VRM settings to disable that icon?
Because if you have a small widget in that area, the icon could overlay its scale.
See below…
Also, if you have a Ruuvi tag, when you plot it, the barometric pressure scale values can get out of the widget, no matter if small or fullscreen.
I tried to get a graph showing today’s actual solar production. The AI is struggling, just as I did. It doesn’t seem to be able to start with zero at the start of the day and show the progressive accumulation.
You’re right: the AI currently doesn’t show cumulative solar production starting from zero at the beginning of the day. It focuses on hourly values, which makes it hard to see how the total builds up over time.
This is a known limitation, and it applies to the manual custom widget setup as well. We’ll definitely take this into account as we look into improving both the AI and the dashboard tools. Thank you for the feedback.
@Barbara Thank you for the reply, it is much appreciated. I though not being able to get a daily PV production curve was just down to my limited knowledge. I will keep a look out for future developments in this area.
It would be good if AI could also work on Node Red implementations.
