Incorrect grid reading relating to Solar production

I’m running a grid-tied ESS system. Metering is via CT clamp plugged into the Multiplus-ii 5kva.
I have solar PV all on the grid side. Only DC connection is battery bank.
My problem is, when the solar is outputting it also ‘deducts’ the output figure from the grid readout - although it’s not actually exporting to the grid (going to battery).

How can I fix this? I want to have accurate grid readout for reporting and to use with Node-red. I have been through all the metering / ESS settings and cannot see the issue. If I set the grid meter setting to ‘external’, then the system goes into passthru mode and doesn’t utilise the batteries.

Any help would be geratly appreciated, I have attached a screenshot showing the issue. You can see that the metering seems to be correct when measuring ‘L1’. This is a single phase system.

You need to configure the position of your PV inverter as AC Output in the section PV inverters. It is counter-intuitive, but with an external CT clamp, that is considered to be the input of the MP and the PV inverter is considered output.

Thanyou Dick! All fixed.
