Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with my Victron MPPT Control that occurs when my car sits in the garage for about two days. The MPPT seems to either crash or lose connection.
Here are the details of my setup:
• Solar Charge Controller: Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/20
• Battery: The battery is in good condition and not faulty
• Firmware: The latest version is installed
• Error Logs: No errors or warnings are recorded in the system
Here’s the interesting part: The connection is instantly restored as soon as I disconnect and reconnect the VE.Direct cable to the MPPT. After that, everything works perfectly fine—until the car sits unused again for a couple of days.
I’ve checked the wiring (all connections are secure and free from corrosion), and the battery maintains a normal voltage even after extended periods. The issue doesn’t seem to be related to the power supply.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Could it be related to the VE.Direct port, a specific configuration, or perhaps a hardware issue? I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions.
Thanks in advance for your help!
