- Your problem is common, increase the charged voltage on the SmartShunt to 14.1V. As this happens so often I wrote a FAQ to explain it. Battery monitor jumping to 100% or reporting a high SOC with low Volts / the BMS shuts down
- You could get the battery charged to around 80% and then leave it disconnected for several months, the manual or datasheet may give a time or how much SOC is used per month. You can turn off solar using the app, this has been confirmed previously by Victron. Another option is to set the absorption and float voltages to 13.2V or 13.3V to make sure the battery stays close to full.
