How to configure Cerbo GX for Octopus flux

Is there a simple set of COMPLETE instructions to configure my CerboGX and Quattro 10 KW inverters to charge overnight between 2 and 5 (that bit Ive Done) but then export at the maximum between 4pm and 7pm in the evening. This is the bit that doesn’t appear to work.

You could turn on DESS, there is a manual here Dynamic ESS Manual [Victron Energy]

After you have setup your prices it will automatically charge and discharge when it is best. Be aware it does disable schedule charging

Beyond that as you have fixed times and prices it can be don with a scheduled charge and node red to force export. Come back if you want to know how to set that up as it is fairly easy.

Dave

Doesn’t appear to work. My overnight charging is OK but outside the cheap hours the system won’t export. Ive set up a schedule

You might well have setup a charge schedule, but from what youve shown all you’ve
done is setup the amount of feed in … along with an odd inverter limitation.

Have a really good read of the DESS manual.

Thanks.
I advise on solar batteries etc but Victron lag behind the competition such as Ecoflow. They have many (including Octopus) pre configured settings for energy saving. I have been in touch with many distributors and installers, paid for their time but they cant figure it out either. The manual is awful (I wrote manuals for ERP systems) and should have some sample setups.
Is it beyond Victron ability to just say if you want to export above a min SOC here’s sample settings.
Having said that I and happy with my setup, not with the after sales support which at this stage prevents me for recommending Victron.
I installed in 2021 but have an up to date Cerbo GX.
