So my phone was in airplane mode but it was connected to wifi, bluetooth was turned on and Victron app was open.
Then I turned off airplane mode (wifi, bluetooth and victron app was still opened as well)…
Am I the only one who has problem with the app?
The problem still exist. But it seems not turning on or off the airplane mode is the main issue.
This is that I see now. I does its job, even there is not much sun this morning⬇️
I don’t know where the Mppt gets the time or date from.
It would be possible that it gets this during the reinstallation or a FW check / restart and then only uses the day / night changes to continue counting.
That would be a question for Victron Technik …
Then it is a possibility at the moment … to look into the past today …
What would happen if you changed something on the mobile … maybe we could already see today what would happen tomorrow …
Back to the future sends its regards
Its probably more a phone related interaction issue.
It certainly doesn’t behave like that with mine
Does it happen when the screen is rotated as well?
The mppt doesn’t have an internal clock. Its days are more when solar is available
Uninstalled, re-installed the app. I opened the app but still saw that yesterdays data is still there as todays data. Then after few minutes today (the real today😄) appeared. But until then all collected watts was registered to yesterday. Look:
(I had kinda same problem yesterday morning as well because it restarted the day so both rows you see on this pic is from yesterday. This is weird by itself…but the today…
…the weird stuffs just continued. This is from 09:53 today⬇️
490Wh - 410Wh = 80Wh was registered from today to yesterday then the app decided to start a new day around 09:52 today and 09:53 appeared a new row as ‘today’.
Wt.?
I don’t think it’s a phone issue…just look at the right bottom of both pictures. The lifetime total and since reset. Both are very different value. And between the 2 pictures there are only approx 12 hours.
It also shows that the total has been reset.
I thought you were referring to the display size. I see it is a picture crop.
The solar fay starts when you first gave the mppt power from pv. So if you started at niday that was day start.
Yes. It was. But not in this 12 hours between the 2 pictures. Reset was 2 days ago and the app started to act weird after the reset. (I did changes and some corrections on my system so I decided a reset.)
Made a complete reset on mppt and the shunt as well, deleted all history, uninstalled the reinstalled the app. Changed the necessary settings and then connected them again together. For now the app seems okay again.
But I still think there is some glitch is hiding in the app.
Just check The 2 pictures that I attached above. Both have different values on the right bottom corner. If my connection is wrong then how do you explain those controversial numbers?
Aaand herewe go again. After reseting everything.
Around 09:50 it starts a new day. Just like the last 2 days, today has 2 rows again.
The right row is approx from sunrise to 09:50 (so showing history from the day before til 09:50 on the actual day), the left row is from 09:50 on the actual day til sunset. My whole system was corrected by all of the helpful smart ones from this forum, including my solar charger and shunt settings. Everything works just fine. Except this. If this is not the app (seems nobody has problem with it just me) then I think I have problem with my MPPT. I will contact will the dealer.
I remember vaguely that they’ll use sunrise detection to figure out when “today” is (or when it starts)… should be somewhere at the section about the street light function, IIRC.
