What is happening that you need to reset the unit?

I have a 110ah leisure battery when I have my fridge on, the mppt stops working over night the only way I can get it working again is to reset to factory settings

Are you sure your PV voltage is reaching the battery voltage + ~6V threshold to start?
If there is sufficient PV and it is configured correctly, it should just carry on. Regardless, with a battery connection it should always be accessible, so you should be able to pull charts that show what voltages it is seeing, so perhaps paste those here, along with your settings.
