I am in the process of designing a new solar+battery+generator system for my off-grid cabin and I was hoping to get some input on the design and any issues you might see (fuses, shut-off switches, other issues…) or improvement suggestions. I have two existing solar arrays I am hoping to re-use, hence to two charge controllers.
Initial thoughts are that each DC distributor can take 4 fuses. you have 4 items needing a fused supply, Multi, 2x MPPT, 1x battery, so only one Lynx unit is needed.
For fusing and cable sizes see the manuals for each of the units, where this is explained clearly.
Add a battery isolator switch in the positive cable to the lynx.
You should definitely reduce the charging current via the generator and AC In.
The 3 kW Honda is not designed for continuous operation and a full 3 kW load over a longer period of time in a sound-isolated installation.
