HDMI to Mac iPad from Cerbo GX

Is it possible to connect my Cerbo GX via HDMI to my iPad similar to my iPhone USB connection ?

If so are there instructions somewhere ?

Seems possible with an hdmi to usb c capture cable (not a standard cable) and an app called orion

your ipad needs to have a usb c port!

You can always use vrm to display remote console, or use a web browser with the ip adress from the cerbo

I realise this is Android: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-t9nIb-Cu4

Wow thanks for quick reply.

I have Wireless HDMI set from the “jungle” (Amazon haha); and an adapter from iPad to HDMI & USB charging. So hoping to plug in the other wireless HDMI instead of trying to fish a hard wire connection through all my maze of stuff in my back wheelchair “garage.

That is a great video. Thanks.

Not being an Android user, it gives me some friction.
I have never seen that total reset system done on a iPad. QR code etc. I had to use Macs for 30 yrs in my working career. Hard to start over at this point.

Plus, like on my iPhone, I’m hoping to be able to switch app to see my 4 outside Blink cameras for surveillance. .

I get that, I’m Linux and Android so anything Windows or Mac irks me…

However you can get a very cheap android tablet, new from Ebay.

You get to keep you iPad for other more important things!

There is also mixed mileage on connecting non Victron displays to the CerboGX via HDMI. A search on the community with something like CerboGX HDMI display issues’ should keep you busy and one may even have the answer for you

If you accomplish it, please do report back here so others get to see the answer!!

Best of luck!

Very appropriate nice response. Great food for thought.
Thank You.
