The GUI v2 worker for the browser interface takes forever to download using Firefox - and seems to reload every time the Cerbo is accessed. This is a recent problem.
I have one customer installation with an Ekrano GX and this happens to me only with their installation. I am using Safari web browser. I’ve completely wiped the Ekrano and started over and it still happens. Weird.
Which version of venus? Any wifi involved (some times something affects signal).
The app is cached once loaded for the first time, it should only reload after a gx OS update.
On a lan it should never be that slow as the file size has got smaller since the first versions.
Looking at the exact error message it looks like Firefox actually downloaded the .wasm correctly but has a problem to compile it. But if that was a generic wasm problem then more people should have seen it, correct? This looks like perhaps the download was corrupted?

Connection looks good. Very strange that it takes 10 minutes to load. Please try with another browser, private tab or clear the cache. Do you have the same problem with other clients in the same network?

Brave web browser takes just as long: Different cache - so that does not seem to be the issue.
same cerbo with wired connection downloads the ap in seconds.
If a fixed connection works fine, then there is something weird going on in the wireless network.
Latency alone isn’t a 100% gauge.
Have you tried to restart the router/AP?
Is it a meshed wifi network?
I have a tenous wifi connection to my GX but on a very good network that I can monitor client performance and radio stability in detail.
It still downloads the file in no time.
Not that one - the wifi is via an older router used as an ap.
not a meshed network. WiFi only has one phone connected to it.
Moved the Cerbo to a different location - not on the main system but onto a secondary system, now the Wifi access (via a different router) is fine. I suspect that there must be some local interference. Other test boards on the office router are fine, but only that Cerbo was slow.
Could be, from a wifi perspective you can use something like wifi explorer to scan what networks are nearby and what the channel overlap is. It at least helps rule that out, but it wouldn’t be helpful if there is some other interference.
