Grounding connections for balancing generator with the 32A Auto transformer

What are the connections for the ground wires in the auto transformer when used for generator balancing?

Please can you add more detail about what you are trying to do, e.g. is your generator a 240V generator and you are trying to produce 120-0-120?

What is the generator model?

Hi Mike,

It is two Ecoflow delta pros through a double voltage hub, so yes, it is two 120v legs (240) to the panel. I am going to use it to balance the load on them

Thanks,

Phil

Had to look that one up, as it’s not common outside of US.

so Gen1 & 2 connect to your hub, which also presumably controls the phase and frequency of the generators to achieve the 240V from 2 x 120V. you then take the 240V to the auto transformer from L1 & L2 connections, which recreates the 120-0-120V.

You will either have to connect the ground to the mid point, or energise the grounding relay - which I think has a 12V dc coil. The ground should also be connected to the ground studs on both generators if they have them, or to a ground terminal on the hub.

Thanks for your response Mike, I will let you know how I make out.
