I have two inverters in split phase and I want the autotransformer to balance the loads

I have two inverters in split phase and Autotransformer 120/240V-100A -I want the autotransformer to balance the loads.I have done the following according to the manual:

For a MultiPlus-II: Deactivate the inverter/charger’s internal ground relay by disabling the ground relay in the inverter/charger settings. Then, connect the inverter/charger “ground relay” terminal block to the autotransformer “earth” terminal block using positive and negative conductors.

I don’t know how to turn on the external ground relay.

Can someone help

What exact model Multiplus-II do you have ?

My 5k split phase quattros have a DIP switch (SW1) that you turn on to enable external ground relay.

For the multiplus-II, no DIP switch, there is just the setting to disable the internal ground relay in vE.configure.

The external wires connected as shown in Appendix A of the manual need to go to the autotransformer.

Are you off-grid, or grid pass through to a critical loads panel?

If off-grid, you don’t need to bother with the relay unless you have a bonded generator. In that configuration you can put your N-G bond into the panel directly.

Also, make sure that your output neutrals are combined together, and that any input neutrals are isolated from the output neutrals.

Hi Rick

Thanks for the feedback, all the things you suggest are the way it is wired and programmed. We have created a microgrid. The multiplusses are not balancing the load. Victron does not seem to have a pre-rma worksheet for the autotransformer - any other ideas here?
