GlobalLink 520 VRM viewing problem

I have a GlobalLink 520 sending BMS, MPPT and Ruuvi temp info remotely to my iphone via Victron connect and can read the basic info ok BUT I cannot see my Victron instruments in the VRM panel/view when I am in my boat or remotely. The Local panel/view shows all Victron instruments and I have tried every Bluetooth manoeuvre I can think of to solve the issue…. Any ideas?

Have you correctly set up a VRM account and registered your GlobalLink 520 to the VRM? VRM isn’t a bluetooth thing, thus why the GlobalLink has an LTE-M SIM card in it.

If no, setting up a VRM account: VRM Portal - Victron Energy

GlobalLink 520 manual: 2. Installation

If yes to both of those questions, have you verified that you’re in an area that currently has LTE-M coverage? 1. Introduction

Good afternoon Justin,
FYI I have a VRM account and it links to the 520 in a basic view. I have 4 Bluetooth devices communicating with the 520 and the LTE-M is working fine.
On my iphone the Bluetooth “local” screen on Victron connect shows all my devices but no VRM devices. Here are some screenshots:

Ah, so it’s working then - what is the issue you’re experiencing?

VRM devices wouldn’t show up under the “local” tab of VictronConnect, as VRM isn’t local - they would show up under the “VRM” tab. If nothing is showing up under the VRM tab, have you linked your VRM account to your VictronConnect app?

I have the same problem.

My GL520 is sending data to VRM and I can see that in the VRM App and WEB therefore my VRM account has the correct GL520 ID..

I have the latest version of VictronConnect

I have logged in to VRM from within the Connect App .

However, I cannot see any data or indeed devices under the VRM tab in Victron Connect.

Is there anything else i need to do to link VictronConnect to VRM to make this data visible in VictronConnect

I think this might be a limitation of the GL520?

I have two systems in my off grid cabin, one using a GX device connected to WiFi, and a backup system connected via a GL520

Both show correctly in VRM, but only the GX device shows in the Connect VRM tab.

It has always been this way since installing a couple of years ago.
