Hello all, I have an issue on my yacht with the start stop function of Cerbo GX in combination with the Quattro to switch shore power on and off for charging the LifePO4 batteries. Basically I have configured the Cerbo GX through the Genset start/stop function based upon State of Charge to start charging at 20 % and stop charging at 80 %. I also charge the batteries this way if the 230 V load is more then 800 W for 5 seconds, to prevent unnecessarily discharging the batteries at high loads. It then remains on for 15 minutes. I use the NC relay1 of Cerbo GX, that is wired to the auxilarly relay of the Quattro. The Quattro has been programmed with assistants to ignore AC-In2 (shore power) if the aux relay is open for 5 seconds or switch it on if aux relay is closed for 5 seconds.
It intermittenly works. Just the other day I was on the boat and had several coffees with a friend and the shorepower of the Quattro to charge the batteries, switched nicely on and off with the more then 800 W load of the coffeemachine. In the night when I checked the SoC, it was 17 %, so below 20 %, it showed on the Cerbo GX that the generator (the shorepower of the Quattro) had been switched on an hour ago, but the shorepower of the Quattro had not actually kicked in. When I reset the Quattro, the shorepower will kick in, as it was supposed to do. And when it finished charging to 80 % it automatically stops as intended. But the behaviour is irregular. It will also sometimes happen when it is supposed to kick in when the load is higher then 800 W, that shorepower does not kick in, but when I reset the Quattro I will as yet kick in and when the 15 minutes is finished it nicely switches off. But all in all it is not fully reliable and behaviour remains irregular. I do not see any solutions within the similar topics that have been posted. Any thoughts?
