Fronius AC coupled PV inverter produces "consumption values" while Multiplus charges batteries

Simple issue. My installation data is interpreting solar to battery as “consumption”. This will result in excess reserve of battery capacity left over in the morning as the system is expecting the battery to run out in the morning. I have localized the problem to my Fronius 10kW AC coupled inverter that is LAN connected to the cerbo.

I have programmed the Multiplus inverter’s ESS assistants to know that the PV inverter is located at the output side of the 3-phase MP2 5000 cluster.

Everything works as expected, Solar keeps producing even at power cuts, as the inverter is powered by the battery “UPS function” as is my entire house.

My question. How do I get the Victron Cerbo to NOT treat the PV Inverter as “Consumption” when the MPs are charging the batteries from the solar energy from Fronius?

Real consumption is about 1kWh, but the graphs show 5-6kWh as they are taking in the battery charging data as well.

The PV charger (Victron 450/200) does not act like this, so not additional “consumption” from there while charging.

I have spent 6 months trying to figure this out with all the menus and settings, but to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

If I change the grid metering option to “external meter”, the layout changes but the same issue remains. PV interter based battery charging results in “consumption”.

Here it is set at Settings - integrations - Solar inverter - Inverter (roughly translated as my system is in German)

If you tap on it, you can set at which AC out it is physically connected (here: AC out).

(since I’m pretty new „at Victron" please treat with a grain of salt, consult manual, pray and sacrifice before changing)

Thank you so much TigerQuasare! I knew there must be a simple solution for this and there was.

I had been over at that Integration menu many times as connected the Fronius, but for some reason I missed that deep menu, that had the actual setting that I also needed to change. It needs that in conjunction to the same setting in ESS assistant(location for input/output in AC). Must be set up in 2 places.

Now everything works 100% and that final pain in the arse is finally solved. Thanks again.
