In 2017, I installed a system based on a Victron MultiPlus 48/5000, serial number HQ1723LQX3K.
Since installation, I have performed only one firmware update, to firmware version 2624430. The system is currently operating correctly.
The system was originally equipped with three Pylontech US2000 batteries, which I would now like to replace with three Pylontech US5000 1C batteries.
Would you recommend updating the MultiPlus firmware before installing the new batteries? If so, which firmware version should I install?
Could you also please confirm whether any other settings or configuration changes are required for compatibility with the Pylontech US5000 1C batteries?
