The pdf explaining the firmware versions needs updating, theres no mention of version 500 (or the link needs updating)

You’re right that it is out of date now, but there was a note added to that document in 2023 that it would no longer be updated with new firmware versions and you should use the release notes in the firmware folders in Victron professional instead.
We are working on new and improved firmware release notes that are more integrated with the rest of Victron experience for the long run, but for now Victron Professional firmware folder is the best source.
