Howdy - My tank sensors trigger a TON of false notifications when my RV is moving down the road. For those of us with GPS receivers and tank sensors, an option to disable notifications if the GPS is showing speed above say, 5mph, would be amazing. Thanks for considering this!
Is this VRM alarms or notifications direct from the GX device. On VRM alarms you can set a delay time to try and damp this out.
VRM alarms - I have 300 seconds of âNotify afterâ time in most of the alarms now, is that the delay you mentioned, or is there somewhere else to look?
Yes, that is it, so it has to be in alarm for 5 minutes which avoids quick alarms of the liquid sloshes about during braking etc. But will.not stop alarms for longer periods if the vehicle is sloped for a long period.
Not sure about âslopedâ - once I park everything settles down, If not level, I expect the one alarm about that. The alarms happen when I am moving. Here are some of the emails generated by a two hour drive the other day before VRM sends the âexcessive alarmsâ email.
I still think a toggle on the alarm config that says âSuppress alarms when movingâ would be proper wayâŚ
