Feature request for geofencing with Cerbo

Here’s a feature I’d like to see in the app: instant geofence. Open the app on your phone, select your Cerbo device, and then have a button that sets the geofence to that device to where you are (per the Cerbo’s current GPS settings) plus maybe a 100m or 200m circle boundary to prevent false errors.

This is for vehicles on the move. You go somewhere you plan to be for a while, maybe a couple of hours, but not in sight of your vehicle. Getting logged into the Victron website, drilling all the way down into the settings to geofence, manually setting the fence boundaries–slow and annoying.

Being able to save frequently used geofences with customizable names–“home dock”, “marina slip”, etc. would also be great.

I agree this would be useful, same on a boat if you leave it in a new marina for a while and go home. This would only need to be VRM based, no need for anything extra in Venus OS.

With the V3.70 Venus firmware having virtual switches in Node Red I think that you could code up a switchable geofence in Node Red and get it to send email alerts. I am not sure about getting it to send a VRM alert.
