Hi,
I have an Orion XS 50.
I have disabled ‘Automatic Shutdown Detection’ and I activate the device using a physical switch.
Having access to the ‘Delayed Start Voltage Delay’ would be handy so I could let the device start and stop depending on whether the engine is running (plus the position of the switch) but delay it kicking in.
As it stands in order to achieve this result I’ll have to fit a timer relay. It just seems a bit daft when the software is there.
Hopefully this is a minor feature change that Victron could consider.

I agree that it would be great to do this. I believe they have not done it this way because the minute control gets more complicated and you have other devices connected together it becomes a mess of priority.
Hi Adam,
Thanks for you response.
Interesting. I didn’t think about prioritisation.
I would have thought that if ‘Auto shutdown’ is disabled then the timer routine could be separated from any prioritisation other than ‘do I have a signal on H or L’.
So… you turn off ‘Auto Shutdown’.
The menu greys out except for ‘Delayed Start’ or it too greys out and a different ‘Delayed Start’ becomes active.
In the background all the prioritisation is sidelined except ‘do I have a signal on H or L’.
Looks like I’m back to a timer relay. Sigh.
However, I live in hope.
