It would be helpful for the Victron Connect app to show the temp compensated voltage the charger is set for. As is currently displayed, you don’t know what voltage the charger is aiming for.
If the charger and shunt are properly set up on the VE smart network, the charger voltage displayed on the app should be the actual at-the-terminals voltage transmitted by the shunt. Once the charger reaches absorption mode, that will be the target compensated charging voltage.
As far as I know there is no other way to see it on current firmware. Internally, when using data supplied by a shunt or battery sense module, the charger obviously calculates a target charge voltage and an overvoltage required to defeat resistance in the charging cables . For me, it would be nice to know both of these values. It would provide some confirmation of correct cable sizing and could also be an indicator of increasing resistance due to a loose terminal, corrosion or a failing breaker.
