Is it possible to add software support to reduce bluetooth signal strength? Even with a 6 digits PIN, I don’t feel like having the controller broadcasting for my neighbors. This would also make my apartment less congested with radio waves.
You can switch off the BT in the mppt.
(And switch it back ln if you have the cable to talk to ve direct or have a GX)
Basically making my smartsolar a bluesolar. Hmm would work for privacy case yes. Though now I also use instant readout with home assistant, so I do need bluetooth after all, just that shorter bluetooth range will be a bit more secure and save some power. But I reckon that limiting transmission power will be more complicated on these chargers compared to traditional linux machines and hence is not worth it.
