I had an RJ45 lead which has lost connection on pins 5 and 7. As pin 5 is one half of the RS485, it managed to get a few messages through with lots of errors.
However, what I found curious is that the only messages getting through were “A” (set address) and “V” (version). Any thoughts? What would the lack of connection on pin 7 make it do?
That would be a really nice solution to the other topic I raised today
I could make sure the the Quattro/Multiplus is not taking battery current whilst I soft start it.
Pity that it’s not so easy to connect to the Ve.Bus cable as one end is in the Mk.2 interface and the other end is in the Multiplus. I don’t suppose that pin can be controlled from the Mk.2 interface. . . . ?
