EVCS not recognising daylight savings

I’ve set the time zone on my EVCS to Australia (Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne), which is correct. However, this morning, daylight savings (robbery?) started, and when I checked the EVCS, I found that it hadn’t applied the one hour shift.

This has strong implications for my costs, as I have the charger configured for scheduled charging, in line with my electricity provider’s free electricity between 11am and 2pm.

I can adjust the schedule, and will do so when I get home, but I’d like to see the time zone data fixed.

Small update. After posting the thread I thought to check for firmware updates. The EVCS was on 2.03, so I updated it to 2.05.

It still isn’t recognising that daylight savings has started. So I’ve updated the schedule to start one hour earlier, and I’ll wait to see what happens. If it does recognise DST a little later than it should have, it’s not a huge issue; it’ll draw from the house battery until the GX changes the minimum battery level to 100% (the GX is recognising that DST has started, so that side is fine.)

Hi, we will check this issue, thanks!

I am also experiencing this with a one hour offset error due to Daylight Savings changes in Melbourne, Australia. It has a ripple effect with other settings and automations causing me a headache :squinting_face_with_tongue: p.s. I am running both EVCS models with v2.05 update already….

thanks, it will be fixed with the next update
