EVCS Auto mode not working as expected

Yesterday I created a (now deleted) post because the EVCS NS kept cycling charging on/off (3 minutes off/1 minute on). This seems to be fixed when I upgraded to FW 2.03. But today it started charging again while I think it shouldn’t have. At 9h51 it started charging while there was only 880W PV power (and if I understand correctly the auto mode looks at the battery charge power, which was only 645W (measured by BMS of Dyness DL-5.0C)).

I have “Allow battery/grid power for auto mode” turned on with 30 minute timeout and “Allow low excess solar power for auto mode” turned off. I would then expect the charging to only start at ~1300W surplus (measured battery charging). But once it starts it should continue for 30 minutes after PV drops too low, no?

But the charging sessions just went on for 1 minute. Then there was an even shorter session right after it, that I didn’t even catch properly in the graphs (I can see it on the Shelly power meter connected to the EVCS that has higher update rate).

Update: If I read the Excel Sheet with Modbus registers, I think 600W Backup Battery charging power is the normal threshold to start (500W “balance power” + 100W “Available sun power threshold for start”). But with “Allow low excess solar power for auto mode” turned off I would expect it not to start?

My setup: 3x MPII-5000 in ESS mode with Cerbo GX. AC Coupled PV (SUN2000 which I integrated on Cerbo, but as far as I understand, the EVCS auto mode is not using the Solar data?).

Why is it starting? Why is it stopping?

A dia de hoy, aún no esta solucionado.
