What I have installed and working
- EV Charging Station (3 phases connected, and switching 1 or 3 phases enabled)
- GX- Device (3.6x)
- EM24 Ethernet (1.8.3)
- PSA Car Controller 3.5.3)
- EVCC (0.204.5)
EVCC has the possibility to limit the SoC to (for example) 80%
It does that using the possibilities of the PSA Car Controller.
In EVCC you can enable the communication with PSA Car controller to read several parameters from the car which is connected.
Why I not use EVCC to balance the PV production into the car instead of delivering to the grid?
For now EVCC does not have the nice balancing features of EV Charging Station.
In automatic mode EV Charging station, just balances the total energy in the EM24 in a way that over 3 phases the total delivered to the grid is around zero.
But I still want the limit the SoC of the EV.
Is it possible to implement the same PSA Car Controller communication in the Victron EV Charging Station and in this way enable the limiting of the SoC?
