I’ve installed an EV charger and it connected to the GX device but I face 2 issues
1- not showing up on VRM. Although the EV portal on the IP address sees the install and shows all info about MPTT, batteries … VRM doen’t reflect the newly installed EV Charger !
2- I cannot charge my electric vehicule as it goes from “starting” to “charged”. I read about calibration but it seems to have evolved along the versions and be automatic but not sure how long it takes and what I can do today…
Same whether it’s manual or auto. Latest Firmware.
I have exactly the same issue.
Since firmware v2.07 the EVCS will go into “charged” state after a few minutes of charging.
My car (Mercedes EQS) will display a charging error when this happens.
I reverted back to v2.05 and all keeps working.
My 2nd EV car (Jeep Avenger) doesn’t show this error (same charger). So it looks to me the combination with the specific car is what triggers it.
@dfaber im not fully sure you are involved with EVCS, if you do:
In the changelog of v2.07 I read: “Fixed an issue with CP auto-calibration that could prevent connected EVs from being detected on some charging stations”. I have a feeling that made it broken for us.
Im able to help / test, VPN connection directly to EVCS available. Location: Culemborg, NL - SiteID: 464460.
Yes, I’ve had manual cp calibration enabled at some point on v2.08. But this also didn’t help and eventually I went back to v2.05 and all started working.
*** after the downgrade I’ve enabled auto calibration again, as it worked flawless on previous firmwares and since i have multiple cars I benefit from the auto cp calibration.
