EV Charger fault after power outage

We have 2 EV Chargers at the same site, one installed a few years ago, one in November, both the original model.

Power outage overnight when the site battery ran out, original unit came back up fine. Second most recent charger was reset to factory defaults and required adding back to the local wifi and GX connection.

Both units are running v2.1/5.2

Faulty unit now shows “E-06: Light Sensor IC Fault”, this error code isn’t listed in the manual. When I select manual charging “N-304: Charger error” appears.

Please advise, the light ring on the charger is displaying.

Hi, if you selected UK as country code, there is a sensor required by law in UK. So you can contact your seller and ask for the sensor, or restore the units to default again, and select another country, if the sensor is not mandatory where you’re located.

Thank you, I will try reseting the unit.

Why would it have lost its configuration during a power outage?

Hard to say, that shouldn’t be possible
