ESS Mode: Keep Batteries Charged

Good day
When changing my ESS Mode to keep batteries charged, the MPPT’s and PV power drops 0 W and the system only charges through AC Input. Why does PV power turn off.
Kind Regards

I hope you get answers. I’ve seen and wondered this too.

It’s difficult to help without any information about the setup, configuration or relevant charts showing key system metrics.

As you can see from above, when i turn the ESS mode to keep batteries charged, the PV power goes to yet the battery is still at 42%, hence i get power from grid only. I have 4 KWp of solar panels on the roof

What batteries do you have? What is the ccl it is sending (assuming lithium) how are the mppts configured? Do chargers report the same voltages?
Any settings in dvcc?
We really can’t guide with so little information. Help us to help you.

I have lithium batteries with DVCC forced. Yes, the MPPTs report the same voltages. In almost all my systems when changing the ESS mode to “Keep batteries charged” the pv power goes off.

As a test, try disabling the SVS when this happens.
Then try setting the system to optimised without BL and set min SOC to 100%.
Can you confirm what charger settings have been set on the multi and individual mppts?
What version is the GX and Multi?
