Batteries not full (SOC38%) and it is feeding solar back to the grid rather than charging them

I have the following connected:
Multiplus 2 GX, 48v,5000va,70amp
Plyontech Batteries x 2 (US5000)
Smartsolar MPPT 150/70

It is choosing to feedback to the grid even though the batteries are only at 38%SOC. What do i need to check and fix to get it working correctly?

What is the value in “Minimum SOC(until grid fails.)” in the ESS menu

it was set to 5%. I then changed it to be set to 100% and it charged up to 72% and stopped and wouldn’t go any higher

And what is your ESS mode

Go back to the beginning. Take the config doc. Follow it exactly. Don’t add anything not in the doc and don’t omit anything.
It will work. You have missed something.

You can post your remote config file here, also send screenshots of the DVCC and ESS pages on the GX.

I Genuinely think i have followed that setup to the letter. It was working fine and now it isn’t (without me changing anything specifically on the settings that I know of)

Do you have an external Grid meter?

No just the 100a current monitor
