I am having some issues while installing my Victron / ZYC battery setup.
The setup is one phase.
- Multiplus-II/5000/70-50.
- Cerbo GX
- Victron Lynx distributor M8.
- ZYC SIMPO 5000 51.2V Battery System I 5.12kWh 2x > so 10.24kWh. in paralel so 200ah.
- ET112 Energymeter.
- Growatt 4500 solar system. (not connected on Victron, there for the energymeter).
The problem i am having is that when using VE configure to add the ESS assistant i am getting fault code #15.
no matter what i change in the settings..
Could you guys help me out?
Are the settings correct for the ZYC battery?
When using the “configuren for VE bus BMS” i am having fault code #6.

Error 15 is VE bus combination error, did you set the VE can connection to bms can bus in the cerbo? Before configuring the ess assitant
Hi Marc, yes the cable is in the whole time. Typ A BMS to can.
The Gerbo CX also sees the charger and battery.
Yes but did you set the bus in remote console to bms can bus?

Error 15 - VE.Bus combination error
A combination error of VE.Bus products, firmware versions or commands has occurred
This error can occur for example when:

An Interface-1140 with old firmware is combined with a new Multi firmware

When external BMS commands are send while a VE.Bus BMS is connected

The connected VE.Bus product firmware versions are incompatible. (This can in most cases be solved by updating the firmware.)
Recovery: auto-restart once the error is gone.
Did you follow the setup manual for victron for the battery?
i did. it should be good at this option right?
i tried Ve.Can & CAN-bus BMW 250kbits but same result.
I rebooted the system, now it says fault #6… tried rebooting once more.. same issue. what is going on?
