My 3 Phase ESS is running smoothly for over 3 years. With EM24 I have the occasional issues as reported by many other users (reconnect with DHCP on/off) or sometimes sporadic disappearing and reappearing of the PV-box in the overview diagram. Latest Firnware is installed on EM24 and Cerbo GX.
Yesterday there was a grid loss event (as I found out in the Notification screen) and since that both of my EM24 do not report any more. VRM showed data of the two devices until that time.
Both meters work, all information can be retrieved on the display, both meters respond to PING, the just don’t respond to Modbus TCP and can therefore not be reached from Cerbo GX nor from the Carlo Gavazzi UCS.
I tried the all the usual procedures found (mostly in the community archive) until I found the information about stuck in “Info boot”. Since I have a bypass switch, I removed them from power, for a Minute, then for 30 Minutes and then for 6 hours with no success.
(Family is pissed for all the short power cuts trying to bring the EM24s back online)
Since both of my devices stopped responding to Modbus TCP at the same time I can rule out a hardware defect.
I there a procedure to bring the EM24s from “info boot” to “info run”?
My expectation is that power equipment, including meters as sensors work reliably 24/7 as does the original blue Victron equipment.
My installation:
3x MPII-5000, Cerbo GX, 8x Pylontec US3000, 28x Enphase IQ7A, 11.4kWp PV
VM-3P75CT as grid meter
EM24 Ethernet as PV meter
EM24 Ethernet as load meter

da die Beschriftung an deinem Schaltschrank auf Deutsch ist, versuche ich es gleich in der Muttersprache!
Genau dein Problem hatten einige Kollegen und ich auch mehrfach und die Lösung ist spielend einfach.
Wir hatten früher die Firmware 1.7… irgendwas auf unseren EM24 → alle 3-9 Monate hatten die Teile Aussetzer und mussten vom Netz getrennt werden. Einige zeigten auch das Verhalten deiner EM24! Nachdem ein Firmwareupdate schief gelaufen war, steckte der EM24 auch im “boot” fest.
Meine letzte Lösung war:

Laptop mit der Software von der Victron Professional-Seite (boot-recovery-tool.zip)

Die Firmware 1.8.3 ebenfalls herunterladen

Direktverbindung von EM24 und Laptop/Rechner herstellen und per “boot-recovery-tool” auf die alte Frimware (1.7…) zurücksetzen

mit dem USC-Tool von Carlo Gavazzi dann das Update auf 1.8.3 durchfĂĽhren.
Das kann unter Umständen auch mal etwas länger dauern oder ganz in die “Hose” gehen. Dann wieder mit Schritt 3 erneut versuchen!
- Die EM24 mit der Carlo Gavazzi-Software wieder konfigurieren (IP, usw.) und dann hats du nie wieder Probleme!
Viel Erfolg und nicht verzweifeln. Unsere Geräte haben jetzt seit 2 Jahren ohne Unterbrechung funktioniert.

PS: Es kann sein, dass mit der neuen Software von Carlo Gavazzi (höher als USC 7.26.3) bei der Firmware-Installation ein Passwort abgefordert wird! Wenn du es mit der Vorgängerversion versuchst, dann gibt es dort keine Passwortabfrage!!! Oder Du schaust bei YouTube nach “MeineEnergiewende”. In einem Video von Jens wird das glaube auch beiläufig erwähnt 
Oder: Dr. Google kennt die Antwort (Code) auch!!!

With the boot-recovery-tool it was a piece of cake to bring them back online. However I deviated from the suggestion above. In the Secure Update software I selected the current Version 1.8.3 which was already installed on my EM24s.
With UCS I only checked if both EM24s were accessible - Done.
Everything is as before except that I lost the total energy count on one EM24 when I tried to bring it back online through altering some settings. By changing Application Type from H to A and back the total energy count was set to zero.
