Dual Victron MultiPlus Setup with Separate Batteries on a Shared AC Bus

I’m planning to install a new power system at my second home using two Victron MultiPlus 48/5000 inverters together with a 12 kW solar PV array. My intention is not to run the inverters in parallel. Instead, I want each inverter to function independently, with its own dedicated battery bank, and without a master–slave arrangement. Both systems should be capable of supplying electricity to the same household circuits. Could you explain how the wiring would need to be configured for this setup, and whether such an arrangement is feasible?

If you split up the DB, you can do it.

But you can’t have the two separate inverters feed one single bus.

I have a similar arrangement where there is a dedicated 3kVa for lights fridge tv. And then a 6kva for the heavy lifting circuits such as the borehole tank pumps washing dishwasher type appliances.

I think your main issue will be sharing the solar over both systems.

Auto transfer switch? Or use it in manual mode.

On a boat I have a Victron 500VA for the fridges and light power items - ceiling fans and a V3000VA for heavy power items. A pair of contractors do an auto changeover when the 3000 is switched on by a remote switch.
