Does Bluetooth on the Phoenix Smart IP43 Charger 120-240V also work with battery power only?

Does Bluetooth on the Phoenix Smart IP43 Charger 120-240V also work with battery power only?

At the moment I have only installed a single Phoenix Smart IP43 Charger. (The remaining system components will follow during the winter.) It seems that I can only connect to the charger via Bluetooth, while 230V shore power is connected. Is this expected? Can it be configured otherwise?

At the moment, the voltage measurement built-in into the charger is the only way to read the battery charge level. It would be extremely nice to check the voltage without shore power as the assigned berth of the boat has no shore power and getting shore power always means to move the boat to a temporary location.

This is correct behaviour.

Use a SmartSense if you just want voltage info
