I noticed an error in the documentation for DESS at Dynamic ESS - manual [Victron Energy] which despite being ‘draft’ appears to be the current official version.
I tried getting a mediawiki account but (not very surprisingly) do not seem to get edit rights by default so I couldn;t just fix it myself. And I couldn’t see a feedback mechanism there, so came here. If there is a better place to give documentation feedback than here I’m happy to use it.
Under ‘Step 1’ it says “For example, if your grid connection supports 17 kWh but your system can only handle 10 kWh, enter 10 kWh.”
Which seemed odd when I read it, and of course the units should all be kW (not kWh) (and they are on the actual page when you start configuring).
