DESS - issue of feed-in setting

Hello,
DESS - I don’t know if that’s a issue - or rather, I think it’s a issue. As soon as DESS is active (on auto), the Multiplus doesn’t use the feed-in setting (for example -50w). That’s really bad, because it’s more worthwhile to run it at -50w than to get something from the mains.

Perhaps that can be improved?

By the way, my system always runs at -50w. After I switched on the DESS to test it, I noticed the increased consumption from the grid. That’s how I got this issue.
I understand that it makes no sense to set the DESS and put the feed-in setting too far into the minus. But the basic setting of 0w is unfortunately not really useful, because the consumption is too high due to the inertia of the system.

Maybe is an limit +/-100w okay if the DESS is on auto?

This has been a topic here in the forum several times. I thought the same for a while. However, I can tell you that the DESS now regulates the reference point better than you can with a manual setting. On days with a PV surplus, it tends to feed in some energy, and on days with a PV shortfall, it tends to take in some energy. Let it run for a few days and observe the balance yourself. I was surprised too.
