Since yesterday, I’ve been trying to adjust the battery capacity in the DESS settings, but I keep getting a communication error. I already checked in the GX, and the communication there is set to Full “Volledig”. Any changes I make in DESS are not applied, while all other communication works fine.
Both BETA 3.70~35 and BETA 3.70~40 show the same message. I don’t believe it’s caused by the BETA.
It concerns a single Multi RS Solar.

can you check the settings about 15 Minutes after attempting to change them?
For my system, I’m seeing the same message, despite settings are saved as they should.
Verify, you turned DESS on in the drop down menu as well:

DESS is enabled. I just tried again and waited for 20 minutes, but the capacity did not adjust.

I just tried in the VRM BETA, unfortunately without success. I tested with both DESS ON and DESS OFF, and then waited for about 20 minutes again.
Oops, maybe I was too quick. In the DESS settings it has now been adjusted: from 15.8 kWh I was able to change it to 32.2 kWh. I don’t see the change reflected in the chart yet. I’ll wait another hour — maybe it worked this time!
I’m still suffering this problem today. Tried the beta link, updated the app, updated the GX, still doesn’t keep the new settings.
