Everytime I try to change my battery capacity from 136 kWh to 152 kWh and save the updated settings in DESS, it always reverts back to the previous setting.
No matter what I try, even if I change the battery capacity 5 times in a row, it will still revert back to the setting it was prior to the (5x) changes.
I’ve had this issue a couple of months ago but then it seemed to be fixed, but now it’s happening again and I have been trying all day to change my battery capacity…
If so - as a workaround - you could use dbus-spy select the com.victronenergy.settings service, and search for the
key Settings/DynamicEss/BatteryCapacity. hit enter, enter the new value and confirm with enter.
That setting then should be synced with VRM and also become visible in the VRM portal.
I could only find an installation with battery capacity set to 150 kwh, I changed that to 152 and it seemed to work. After how much time did you notice it resetting to the old setting?
When I tried to change it yesterday, it was about 14:15h and at first it looked like the settings were saved, but when I checked again at around 17:00h the settings were back to 132.
