I am experiencing an issue with charging my 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery through the DC-DC 30A and LYNX . The problem seems to be related specifically to battery charging—while I have power in the van, the battery itself is not charging. However, the battery charges normally when connected to shore power.
Victron app for DC-DC show output voltage.
Does it definitely not charge or is it charging and the charge current is not measured. You say the app shows voltage, does the battery voltage also increase.
A common error in wiring is the starter battery to lithium battery negative connection and or the chassis ground. These must both connect yo the lynx negative bus bar. See the simple sketch.
I think I’ve realized my mistake I connected the negative (-Ve) to the LYNX instead of the shunt. It’s a bit confusing in my setup because I used blue as positive (+).
I’ll try to connect the negative (-Ve) to the shunt today and will post the results.
